Great Book! - Rules of the Red Rubber Ball
I recently read a very inspiring book titled, “Rules of the Red Rubber Ball” by Kevin Carroll. This book was about how we all must find our passion in life and learning how to apply that passion to our careers, whether an entrepreneur or working a 9-5 for someone else. It’s important to have a career that you’re passionate about. Ultimately, the book is uplifting and definitely help me put some things into perspective and it’s very creatively written. If you get a chance to read it, let me know your thoughts.
Kenya, thanks for your kind words and I’m glad that Rules of the RRB inspired you. Good luck with your real estate career!
What’s your Red Rubber Ball?!

Kevin I wanted to thank you for coming and speaking at the IIA conference closing session. I learned a lot from your presentation and have shared my experience with my family and friends since that time. Keep up the good work and the spreading of your positive message.

Your book, Rules of the Red Rubber Ball, is slowly changing my life. I want to be the change I want to see (http://ideablob.com/ideas/2761-Customer-Service-Agent-that-Car). Every day, I try to improve myself, to look at things differently, to change my direction a bit so I can become what I want to be.
When I lose track, I pick the book back up and read it. I read this site sometimes from my Blackberry. I try to keep it close so I will not lose track of what I am after in life. The book is small enough to fit in my messenger bag. It’s hard to stay on track, but I am trying.

Kevin- WOW - I heard you speak today in Phoenix at the Jostens event. You are amazing and incredible!
I will wear my KaBoom pin and my DREAM bracelet with a big smile- it will remind of the Red Ball and the need to PLAY everyday.
As I was sitting there, I was thinking- I wonder if he knows Darrell Hammond from KaBOOM! Low and behold his site is on your site! I had the great fortune of hearing him speak and meeting him last month in D.C. where he received National Recognition at the Jefferson Awards Ceremony. You both have such inspirational stories to share. I am glad that you have been able to share each others work and stories. Kids need to play- we all need to PLAY. I look forward to getting your book and sharing it with my students in the near future. Keep up the great work! You are a DIFFERENCE MAKER. I loved playing as a kid out at the rec centers and parks back in D.C… Those were the days
