Thursday Shoutout: Andrew Nicol

Thursday Shoutout is our time to feature those who have given us love on their websites or blogs.  This is our way of saying: Backatcha!

Today we give it up for Andrew Nicol @ AndrewNicol.Net.  Andrew owns Agoge Limited which “provides services to the logistics industry.” Why Agoge?  “Agoge means ‘being’. Many years ago a guy Paul while on his death bed wrote a letter to his young apprentice Timothy and said “You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose and faith”. The term ‘my way of life’ is the old greek word Agoge. Paul knew it was more than just teaching, or having purpose or having faith. Paul knew he had lived all these things through his way of life. Through being!  I long to have an impact on the people with whom I share planet earth with.  I want to ‘be’”

Agoge in this context means ”walking your talk.” One must master the rhetoric, as well as the gait. Harmonizing word and deed is imperative if one is to be “real.”

RULES OF THE RED RUBBER BALL - by Kevin Carroll
Read it on a plane flight from Hamilton to Christchurch. Easy read. I liked the fun layout. A great reminder to chase and live your dreams. 4 out of 5.”

Thanks, Andrew and continue “being.”
